Re-telling Her Story: One Chapter At A time
Empower Your Journey to Wholeness, Freedom, and Restoration
About Re-telling Her Story
Re-telling Her Story is a virtual private practice dedicated to walking with adolescent girls and women on their journey to wholeness, freedom, and restoration. Founded on Christian principles and led by Maxine Guthrie, LCMHC, NCC, our practice integrates evidence-based clinical modalities to address mental, emotional, and spiritual needs holistically. We believe in creating a safe, person-centered environment where clients can tell their stories without shame or judgment, becoming the authors of their own lives.
Our approach combines integrative and holistic therapy, tailored to each individual’s unique needs. We utilize multiple therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, existential therapy, Gestalt therapy, motivational interviewing and strength based therapy. With over 4 years of clinical experience and advanced degrees in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Maxine is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards while treating every client with dignity, warmth, and empathy. Our mission is to empower individuals to identify and change unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, fostering meaningful, lasting change that helps clients feel truly empowered.
